Adhir Chowdhury criticizes Govt over Indus Water treaty, stresses need for dams to stop water flow | Watch

Former Congress MP Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury stated that while the government has ended the Indus Water Treaty, it has not taken steps to stop the flow of water from rivers flowing towards Pakistan. He emphasized that although there is widespread demand for the government to take decisive action, halting the water flow is not feasible without the construction of dams. Chowdhury pointed out that such infrastructure is necessary to control the water supply and ensure its regulation, as the current measures are insufficient to achieve the desired outcomes.
