The Jharkhand Education Board has initiated the online admission process for the academic session 2024-25 in 80 Chief Minister Schools of Excellence (CM SOE) spread across the state. Aimed at fostering educational excellence and holistic development, Kiran Kumari Pasi, the State Project Director of Jharkhand Education Project Council, launched the official web portal for admissions. Interested parents can apply through the portal https://www.soeadmission.in/ until March 3, with the selection process relying on a district-level examination scheduled for March 11. The Jharkhand Council of Educational Research and Training will prepare the examination papers, and enrollment will be based on merit.
In addition to CM SOE, Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya (KGBV) has commenced the admission process for Class 6, offering a total of 75 seats. The selection for 25 state government-reserved seats for female students will be determined by the district-level selection committee's examination. Furthermore, CM SOE is accepting enrollments for Kindergarten and Class 1 for the upcoming academic session, with specific criteria for eligibility based on the distance of residence from the school. The schools' mission is to provide inclusive education, irrespective of social or economic backgrounds, with modern infrastructure and facilities such as smart classrooms, libraries, and laboratories.
