BJP MLA Agnimitra Paul has accused the West Bengal government and Assembly Speaker of suppressing opposition voices, alleging that BJP legislators are repeatedly silenced inside the assembly. She claimed that her microphone was turned off whenever she attempted to speak and that BJP MLAs were being suspended for raising concerns. Paul further alleged that "Azad Kashmir" slogans were written in Jadavpur and accused the government of inaction, stating, "This is happening with the backing of the government." She criticized the ruling party for not allowing BJP MLAs to participate in discussions and claimed that opposition voices were being deliberately sidelined.
