In a swift response to a medical emergency, a sick woman identified as Sumitra Devi, aged 55, was airlifted from Gangasagar Fair premises to Dumurjala Helipad in Howrah on Friday afternoon around 12:25 pm. The state government organized an air ambulance transfer to ensure immediate medical attention.
Following the helicopter landing, a Green Corridor was established to expedite the woman's transportation to Bangur Hospital. Hailing from Rampatti, Bihar, the sick woman's prompt evacuation showcases the coordinated efforts to provide timely healthcare, with her son accompanying her during the critical transfer.
