Kolkata Airport makes history by welcoming first Giant Airbus Beluga XL
Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar took to his social media platform, X (formerly Twitter), on January 7 to express his dismay over the hate speech directed at Indians by some prominent public figures in the Maldives, including a minister.
In response, Akshay Kumar questioned the unprovoked hatred towards Indians, emphasizing the significant number of tourists from India who visit the Maldives. The actor, who has visited the Maldives multiple times and previously praised the country, called for dignity and urged Indians to consider supporting domestic tourism by exploring Indian islands.
Akshay wrote, "Came across comments from prominent public figures from Maldives passing hateful and racist comments on Indians. Surprised that they are doing this to a country that sends them the maximum number of tourists."
