Following similar incidents involving Rashmika Mandanna, Katrina Kaif, and Kajol, a manipulated video featuring Alia's morphed face has gone viral across various social media platforms, raising alarms about the potential misuse of artificial intelligence.
The manipulated video, widely shared on the internet, depicts a girl adorned in a blue floral co-ord set, with morphed face of Alia Bhatt's, engaging in inappropriate gestures towards the camera. This incident adds to the growing string of deepfake controversies that have been plaguing the entertainment industry.
Notably, a few days prior to this, another manipulated video featuring Kajol surfaced online. The original clip, part of the 'Get Ready With Me' trend on TikTok, showcased influencer Rosie Breen, whose face was digitally replaced with that of Kajol. The emergence of growing apprehensions surrounding the misuse of deepfake technology has raised serious concerns after manipulated content involving other prominent celebs like Rashmika Mandanna and Katrina Kaif went viral.
