All assembly officials ordered to remain presend during Hemant Soren's floor test

Hemant Soren has become the Chief Minister but, his party needs to pass the confidence motion in the Assembly. Ahead of this, all officials have been ordered to be present during the Jharkhand Assembly session. An order was issued in this regard on Saturday from the office of the Principal Secretary of the Government, Vandana Dadel.

In a letter addressed to all the Additional Chief Secretary, Principal Secretary, Secretary of the State Government along with the Director General of Police, heads of all departments, Deputy Commissioner of Ranchi, and SSP, it has been said that the 16th session of the fifth Jharkhand Legislative Assembly will begin on July 8 at 11:00 am. All officials must be present during this session.

In this order of the government, it has been said that under Rule 139 of the procedure and functioning of the Jharkhand Legislative Assembly, a motion of confidence has to be moved by the Chief Minister in the Council of Ministers.

After this, debate and voting are to be held. Therefore, from 11:00 am on July 8, till the end of the proceedings of the Assembly, all the officials will be present in the official gallery of the Assembly.
