Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2 ranks among Japan’s top 10 Indian film earners

Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2: The Rule has achieved a significant milestone by entering the list of the top 10 highest-grossing Indian films at the Japan box office. Released in Japanese theatres on January 16, 2026 as Pushpa Kunrin, the film has collected around ¥105 million (approximately ₹6.03–₹6.1 crore) in its first 14 days, overtaking Aamir Khan’s Dhoom 3 from the tenth position.  The listing reflects growing Japanese interest in Indian cinema, especially high-energy action entertainers. Pushpa 2’s strong word-of-mouth in major cities such as Tokyo and Osaka helped it climb the ranks quickly, reinforcing the international appeal of the Pushpa franchise.
