America shaken by 7.2 magnitude Earthquake, triggers Tsunami warning

Strong tremors were felt on the island of Alaska as a result of the earthquake in America. When the intensity of this earthquake was measured on the Richter scale, the number 7.2 raised the concerned line at the head. 

A tsunami warning was also immediately issued for the area following this large 7.2 magnitude earthquake on Sunday in Alaska. 

According to the US National Weather Service (NWS), the epicenter of the earthquake was 55 miles away from Sand Point, Alaska. This strong earthquake was felt at 10:48 local time.

The earthquake was so strong that the National Weather Service immediately issued a tsunami warning for the area. Based on this, an advisory was issued asking people to stay away from coastal areas, and the local administration was asked to be ready to deal with any untoward situation. Along with this, people were advised to go to higher areas. Even after the 7.2-magnitude earthquake, tremors were felt for a long time.

A tsunami threat hovered over Alaska for 90 minutes after the earthquake. However, after this period, the fear of the tsunami ended. 

The National Weather Service has withdrawn its tsunami warning. While tweeting, he shared this information that now the danger of tsunami is averted. There is now no tsunami threat in any area. However, the NWS has issued an advisory for people to stay away from coastal areas. He also said that a tsunami may not come now, but sea levels may rise in many areas.

Earthquakes are a common occurrence on the Pacific island of Alaska, but this 7.2 earthquake was quite strong. 

Soon after this Sunday's earthquake, another 5.2-magnitude earthquake was recorded in the same area.
