Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee will reach Delhi a day in advance for the dinner of the G-20 summit to be held in Delhi. State Secretariat sources have said that Mamata Banerjee will stay in the new Bang Bhawan here in Chanakyapuri.
Interestingly, Governor Dr. CV Anand Bose has also received an invitation to attend the dinner and will be staying at the same location. This development comes amidst recent disagreements between Mamata Banerjee and the Governor regarding the appointment of Vice Chancellors in universities, raising curiosity about a potential encounter during their shared stay.
A Trinamool Congress leader has told that Aam Aadmi Party chief and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal may meet Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee at Bang Bhawan. In Delhi, Mamata will also meet Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and a separate meeting is also to be held between the two.
