Union Home Minister Amit Shah visited Chhindwara, Madhya Pradesh, ahead of the upcoming general elections. Shah offered prayers at the Ram temple in Chhindwara, a bastion of Congress leader Kamal Nath, on the occasion of Ram Navmi. He shared pictures of his visit on social media, expressing wishes for the country's progress and the welfare of its citizens. Shah also held a roadshow in Chhindwara to support BJP candidate Vivek Bunty Sahu.
State BJP spokesman Ajay Dhawle mentioned that Shah held a meeting with local figures in Chhindwara before visiting the Ram temple. Following his prayers, Shah departed for Nagpur. Chhindwara is set to participate in the first round of general elections on April 19, where Bunty Sahu, backed by BJP, will contest against Kamal Nath's son, representing Congress.
