Amit Shah: PM Modi created pro-industry conditions

Amit Shah, the Union Home Minister, made the statement while speaking at the Assocham Annual Session 2023–24. Under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership, the NDA government has established the groundwork for becoming a developed economy by 2047 and a $5 trillion economy by 2025 over the past nine years.

"I view India’s 130 crore population as a huge market, instead of a burden,” said Union Home Minister Amit Shah.

India's progress depends on the PM's whole-of-government strategy and team-India vision. Notwithstanding of political differences, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has resolved to lead everyone in a special synergy.

India has hosted G20 gatherings in 59 locations to raise awareness. This strategy was also used in the battle against COVID-19. In contrast to the US, where people must wait three months for their vaccination certificate, we received ours within a single day.

Shah claimed that India has reached Rs 8,800 crore in digital transactions, with 35% of them being handled through UPI while criticizing former finance minister P Chidambaram for his lack of vision on digital payments in a speech to the legislature in 2017.

In India, nearly all villages have electricity, and 1,90,000 panchayats are connected to Bharatnet.

Now, there are 82 crore broadband connections, up from 6.1 crores in 2014, according to Shah.
