Union Home Minister Amit Shah is scheduled to make his second visit to Kolkata within a month, arriving on the 24th to conduct phased meetings related to the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
The visit will culminate in an extensive meeting on the 25th, involving BJP Members of Parliament, Members of Legislative Assembly, and senior officials. Notable figures such as IT Cell Chairman Amit Malviya and Bengal in-charge Mangal Pandey will join Amit Shah for discussions.
The decision for the visit was confirmed after a meeting between BJP President Sukant Majumdar, MP Soumitra Khan, and Amit Shah in New Delhi, where the Home Minister agreed to the request to visit Kolkata together.
The agenda for the meetings is expected to cover various strategic aspects, reflecting the Home Minister's interest in fostering political coordination and planning within the BJP leadership in West Bengal.
