Trump asks Apple CEO not to manufacture in India, says 'they can take care of themselves'
In a strong show of solidarity and national grief, residents of Chakradharpur’s Karanjo in Jharkhand’s West Singhbhum district organized an anger rally on Friday to protest against the brutal terror attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, that claimed 26 lives. The event, held in the wake of the tragedy, brought together citizens, students, and activists under a single demand — justice for the victims and strict action against the perpetrators.
The day began with a tribute meeting where locals paid homage to those who lost their lives in the attack. The emotional gathering turned into a charged rally, as people marched from the Karanjo campus to Karaikela market, raising slogans such as “Hindustan Zindabad” and “Punish the terrorists”.
Leading the rally were Sanjay Singh, in-charge of Birsa Seva Sansthan, and Tirath Jamuda, President of Ekal Abhiyan. They called the attack a direct assault on India’s sovereignty and not just a crime against tourists. "This is a war against the spirit of India. The culprits must face the harshest punishment possible," said Jamuda during the rally.
Sanjay Singh emphasized the need for a strong national response to deter such attacks in the future. “Terrorists and their backers should be taught a lesson they never forget,” he stated, echoing the mood of the crowd.
Several local leaders, teachers, and students from Karanjo also participated in the rally, expressing their anger, grief, and resolve to stand united against terrorism.
