Addressing the Legislative Assembly, Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari issued a strong warning on law and order, stating that "anti-social elements will not be spared at any cost." He alleged that the agitators had deliberately attempted to provoke a police lathi-charge during the previous day's protests to vitiate the atmosphere. The Chief Minister said the government would take strict action against those who take the law into their own hands and reiterated that maintaining peace and order across the state remains the government's top priority.
