Renowned actor Rituraj Singh, best known for his role in the popular television series Anupamaa, breathed his last on Monday night following a massive cardiac arrest. The 59-year-old actor had been undergoing treatment for pancreatic-related ailments, which had kept him away from the screen after his initial appearances in Anupamaa's recent episodes.
According to reports, Singh had been battling pancreatic health issues for some time, leading to his absence from the ongoing narrative of Anupamaa. Amit Behl, a close friend of the late actor, revealed that Singh had been admitted to the hospital for treatment as his condition worsened. Despite medical efforts, Singh suffered a fatal cardiac arrest on Monday evening, leaving the entertainment industry in mourning.
Beyond television, Singh's presence extended to films and web series, including his notable role as Yashpal in Anupamaa and appearances in projects like Indian Police Force alongside Sidharth Malhotra and Vivek Oberoi.
