Appointment corruption: Ayan’s son’s girlfriend reached ED office early in the morning, questioned

The girlfriend of Abhishek, Hooghly district promoter and son of Trinamool leader Ayan Sheel, arrested in the state's high-profile teacher appointment corruption case, is being questioned on Wednesday.

Before the day ED alerted a girl named Eman Ganguly and asked her to come today at 10 am. Although she arrived early in the morning. He was accompanied by his father Vibhas Ganguly, who was at one time a senior official in the state's urban development department.

Sources said a joint petrol pump was purchased in the name of Eman and Abhishek for which Ayan gave Rs. These rupees were recovered in lieu of corruption in the appointment of teachers. Suspicious transactions in crores of rupees have also taken place in Eman's account, so he must be questioned.

A petrol pump has been built on about 3.5 large plots on Durgapur Expressway in Gudap, Hooghly. In October 2020, the pump was purchased for one million rupees. He bought the petrol pump from three brothers named Nand Gopal Shukla, Ajay Shukla and Ashish Shukla, residents of Bidon Street, Kolkata.

Apart from this, Abhishek and Iman have a business on Bondel Road in Kolkata. It's called Fossil. Eman was summoned with documents of all these qualities. They called her at 10:00 in the morning but caught her early in the morning to escape the media cameras.

ED sources said that Eman is being questioned since morning.
