Vandalism in Howrah over controversial painting during Durga Puja; 30 arrested
At least 14 people were killed and nearly 100 were injured in an explosion at a multi-storied building in Dhaka’s Gulistan area in Bangladesh. The incident took place at around 4 pm on Tuesday.
11 fire services emergency units are at the location and rescue operations are underway. Injured people have been rushed to the Dhaka Medical College Hospital.
The building, located in the busy Siddique Bazaar, was a commercial building with several offices and stores. The blast reportedly took place in a store selling sanitation materials on the ground floor of the seven-storey building.
