A joint team of Delhi Police Special Cell, Jharkhand ATS (Anti-Terrorist Squad), and Ranchi Police has arrested a suspected ISIS terrorist. This arrest was made on Wednesday morning at Tabarak Lodge, located in Islamnagar of the Lower Bazaar police station area.
The suspected terrorist has been identified as Ashar Danish. Apart from this, the Delhi Police Special Cell and Jharkhand ATS have also raided Palamu and detained a person, and are interrogating him.
Ashar Danish, who was caught in Ranchi, is originally from Petarwar in Bokaro district. The Delhi Special Cell was looking for him for a long time on the basis of a case registered against him in Delhi, after which this arrest was possible.
Currently, an intensive interrogation of the arrested suspected terrorist is going on. This interrogation is expected to yield more important information, which can help in finding out his network and activities.
