Visuals from the scene showed signs of damage to the property, including broken windows and shattered glass. Local outlets reported that multiple windows were affected, with police and the Secret Service present at the residence to assess the situation and secure the area.
Authorities said the Vance family was not at home at the time of the incident, and investigators do not believe the individual entered the house. Officials are examining whether the act was directed at the US Vice President and his family, as part of the ongoing probe.
Neither JD Vance nor the White House has commented on the incident so far. The Secret Service is expected to issue a statement later on Monday. The Vice President had been in Cincinnati for the holidays last week and departed on Sunday, hours before the incident took place.
