Authorities have seized MD drugs and raw materials valued at Rs 1,814 crore from a factory located in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. This bust was announced by Gujarat Minister of State for Home Harsh Sanghavi, who highlighted the collaborative efforts of the Gujarat Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS) and the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) from Delhi. Minister Sanghavi expressed his admiration for the agencies involved, stating, "Kudos to Gujarat ATS and NCB (Ops), Delhi, for a massive win in the fight against drugs!"
The successful raid not only underscores the scale of drug trafficking in the region but also emphasizes the importance of inter-agency cooperation in combating such issues. During the operation, authorities discovered a substantial quantity of MD along with essential raw materials used for its production. This seizure is a critical blow to drug availability in the region and demonstrates the law enforcement agencies relentless efforts to disrupt drug networks.
Sanghavi further remarked that the achievement showcases the tireless work of law enforcement in combating drug trafficking and abuse, a pressing issue affecting public health and safety.
