The Sri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirath Kshetra Trust has offered a glimpse of the ongoing floor-inlay work at Ayodhya's Ram temple in anticipation of the consecration ceremony for Ram Lalla scheduled for January next year. Shared on X (formerly Twitter), the images showcase the meticulous craftsmanship involved in the floor inlay process. The trust had previously released photos capturing crane views of the temple under construction and intricate carvings within the Ram Janmabhoomi temple.
As the consecration ceremony approaches, tent cities are being erected in Ayodhya to accommodate an anticipated 80,000 devotees arriving for the Pran Pratishtha ceremony on January 22, 2024. During this ceremony, the idol of Ram Lalla will be placed in the sanctum-sanctorum of the newly built Ram temple, marking a significant milestone in the temple's construction.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been invited as the chief guest for the ceremony, and the trust plans to invite non-resident Indians (NRIs) to Ayodhya after January 26, 2024, to pay their respects to Ram Lalla at the newly constructed temple. The trust is in the process of compiling a list of 2,500 prominent individuals to extend invitations, in addition to inviting 4,000 seers from across the country to participate in the grand event.
