'Jo Ram Ko Laye Hain' singer Kanhaiya Mittal to join Congress
Jharkhand BJP President Babulal Marandi has strongly condemned West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee's recent remarks during the Bengal bandh, where she warned that if Bengal catches fire, neighboring states like Jharkhand, Assam, and others would also not be spared. Marandi labeled Banerjee's comments as "extremely condemnable and unfortunate," accusing her of using separatist language that aligns with predictions made by intelligence agencies.
Marandi's response was not just limited to Banerjee's statement. He also raised concerns about a broader issue related to Bangladesh, referencing intelligence reports that suggest a conspiracy to create a new country called 'Banglastan.' According to Marandi, this alleged plot involves uniting parts of Jharkhand, Bihar's Kishanganj district, West Bengal, several northeastern states, parts of Nepal, and even regions of Myanmar. He warned that this could be an effort to fulfill the objectives of Ghazwatul-Hind (a supposed war against non-Muslims) and Islamic Bangladesh.
Marandi emphasized the sensitive situation in Bangladesh following the coup against Sheikh Hasina's government on August 5. He alleged that fundamentalists are trying to advance their dangerous agenda, which could have serious implications for Jharkhand and the entire country. He also accused the Congress and Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) of aiding these fundamentalist forces for political gain, particularly by allowing a significant increase in the Bangladeshi Muslim population in Jharkhand.
Marandi called for vigilance among the people of Jharkhand, especially the tribal communities, urging them to be cautious in these challenging times. He warned that parties like Congress and JMM, driven by political ambition, have historically aligned with foreign forces, endangering the country's unity and security.
