Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, during her seven-day tour of North Bengal, declared the conversion of Banarhat Primary Health Center into a 30-bedded block hospital. The announcement was made from the Banarhat Sabha stage on Monday, where the Chief Minister addressed the public and expressed her commitment to enhancing healthcare facilities in the region.
Additionally, Mamata Banerjee revealed plans for establishing fire stations in Banarhat and Dhupguri and highlighted the development initiatives, including the completion of the fourth Mahananda bridge and grants for Devi Chaudhurani Temple and Jalapesh Temple.
During her address, the Chief Minister emphasized the construction of numerous schools, colleges, and universities for educational advancement. However, Mamata Banerjee criticized the BJP government at the Center, stating that the cessation of Rs 7,000 crore for the 100 days' work program is unjust, and she intends to meet the Prime Minister in Delhi to demand the rightful allocation.
