In anticipation of the Ram Mandir inauguration and consecration of Ram Lalla, Banshaberia's Hanuman temple is abuzz with devotees engaging in various preparations for the upcoming Ram puja. Devotees are actively involved in the production of Prasad laddus, with a remarkable feat of women collectively crafting 51,000 laddus, each weighing 1000 kg. The Hanuman temple, located in Kalbazar, Ward No. 10 of Banshaberia Municipality, is home to deities such as Shiva, Radha Krishna, Ram, Sita, and Lakshman.
The festivity, scheduled for January 22, mirrors the grand celebrations set to take place in Ayodhya. The Kalbazar temple complex will witness worship, aarti, and a family sacrifice, culminating in the distribution of laddus among the devotees. The collaborative effort of local residents has kickstarted the production of thousands of kilos of laddus, further enhancing the fervor of the upcoming puja.
