In a recent development, the Bengal Special Task Force (STF) has made a significant drug bust in West Bengal, seizing drugs worth crores of rupees. Acting on secret information, the STF conducted a raid in front of Andhamanik Sammilani Lower Primary School in the Baduria police station area of North 24 Parganas.
During the operation on Sunday, a kilogram of heroin, valued at over one crore rupees in the market, was recovered. Prior to that, two individuals were apprehended in Kolkata for their involvement in the drug trade, while a couple from Sukant Nagar in Salt Lake was arrested for allegedly supplying drugs in different parts of the city.
