Vandalism in Howrah over controversial painting during Durga Puja; 30 arrested
YouTuber, influencer, and Bigg Boss OTT2 winner Elvish Yadav, along with five associates, have been booked by Noida Police following the discovery of 20 ml of snake venom and 9 poisonous snakes in their possession, which were allegedly used during rave parties. Among the recovered snakes were 5 cobras, 1 python, 1 two-headed snake, and one rat snake.
The complaint against the rave party involving snake poison was filed by BJP MP Maneka Gandhi's NGO, which had been pursuing the case against Elvish Yadav for some time. The complainants informed Noida Police that they had information indicating Elvish Yadav's involvement in shooting videos with snake venom and live snakes at his Noida farmhouse, where he also allegedly organized "illegal" rave parties, often attended by foreign girls. In response, a representative from the NGO approached Elvish Yadav and requested him to procure cobra venom. Elvish purportedly shared his agent's details and provided his phone number.
The agent, upon contact, agreed to supply snakes and snake venom, prompting five individuals (Rahul, Titunath, Jayakaran, Narayan, and Ravinath) to arrive at the decoy party location. The NGO's representatives then informed the police, leading to the apprehension of the five individuals who had brought the snakes and snake venom. Subsequently, all five were taken into custody, and they allegedly implicated Elvish Yadav. In total, 9 snakes were seized during the party, consisting of 5 cobras, 1 python, 1 two-headed snake, and one rat snake. In a related incident,
Elvish Yadav received an extortion call demanding ₹1 crore. A 25-year-old man from Gujarat was arrested for making these extortion calls to Elvish.
