On Wednesday morning, during the busy hours, a bike accident occurred on Maa Flyover in Kolkata, resulting in a severe mishap. The bike, reportedly speeding from Park Circus, went out of control and hit the divider near Tiljala Traffic Guard around 8:30 a.m.
The impact caused the pillion rider to fall approximately 80 feet off the flyover.
The rider was rescued immediately and rushed to Bypass Hospital, where his condition is said to be critical. The driver of the bike survived the accident, sustaining minor injuries.
The incident led to a significant traffic jam on the flyover, but authorities quickly responded, seizing the bike and working to clear the congestion. The situation is now under control.
