The incident occurred under Liluah police station limits when two bikers skidded and fell while traveling from Salap to Jagadishpur. A lorry coming from behind fatally ran over 50-year-old Noor Mohammad Laskar, a resident of Jagadishpur, while his companion sustained injuries and was taken to a hospital.
Following the accident, locals gathered at the spot and vandalized passing trucks and a traffic booth, disrupting movement on the busy highway. Police and RAF personnel were deployed to control the situation and restore order. Authorities confirmed that investigations are underway, and efforts are being made to identify those involved in the vandalism.
