Biobrio, CSER, celebrated, 10th anniversaryBiobrio, an international life sciences journal published as the official organ of Ranchi's Center of Social and Environmental Research (CSER), celebrated its tenth anniversary on Sunday.
The magazine is published quarterly and has a print and online ISSN [print ISSN: 2393-9508, e-ISSN: 2582-4902]. A new website (https://www.thebiobrio.in) was also launched during the CSER event in Ranchi with updated features and easier access for authors and researchers.
Prasanjit Mukherjee, Head of Botany Department at Gumla’s K.O. College, will now be the editor-in-chief of The Biobrio, according to Jyoti Kumar, who has held the position for the past ten years.
Kumar will continue to serve as the magazine's executive editor and wished the team continued success.
Mukherjee said CSER launched The Biobrio journal as an initiative to promote research and provide a platform for students and researchers to publish their research works under the guidance of a distinguished editorial panel.
Since its inception in 2014, the journal has published over 200 research articles from various academic and research institutes across the country.
He is eager to take up the role of Editor-in-Chief and will ensure that the quality of the journal's articles is maintained and that it is indexed by various national and international agencies.
Mukherjee said that CSER, registered under the Companies Registration Act-1860, has been operating in the state of Jharkhand since 1996 with the motto of establishing a society where people can enjoy peaceful and strong social interaction/affinity and contribute to a better environment. in collaboration with like-minded environmentally conscious academics, researchers and social activists.
