Local women reportedly faced threats during the confrontation.

 A few youths celebrating the occasion were allegedly verbally abused by another group, triggering immediate tension. The altercation quickly escalated into a full-fledged fight, with both sides throwing kicks and punches, leaving at least five people injured. Video footage of the incident circulated on social media, showing a young man brandishing a sword and allegedly threatening a woman who tried to intervene. Authorities have not verified the authenticity of the video. The clash occurred in the Dagar Bagan area of Lilua, drawing attention from nearby residents concerned about public safety.

On receiving information about the incident, the Liluah police and central forces rushed to the scene to control the situation. No arrests have been reported yet, and an investigation is underway to identify the instigators and restore calm in the area.
