Bidhannagar Mayor Krishna Chakraborty resigns, another massive blow to TMC
BJP National President Nitin Nabin arrived in Durgapur on a two-day visit to West Bengal, greeted at Andal Airport by a large gathering of party MPs, MLAs, leaders, and workers. The welcoming crowd raised slogans of “Bharat Mata Ki Jai,” “Nitin Nabin Zindabad,” and “BJP Zindabad,” while presenting bouquets and playing drums and nagadas to celebrate his arrival.
During the event, BJP leaders including Purulia MP Jyotirmay Singh Mahto, Bankura MP Somitra Khan, and state president Shamik Bhattacharya expressed confidence that the BJP would secure a decisive victory in the 2026 assembly elections. They stated that Nitin Nabin’s visit is expected to energize the party cadre and significantly influence the election dynamics in Bengal.
