BJP could have honored Advani by making him President :Sanjay Raut

Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Sanjay Raut has raised many questions on the government on the announcement of giving Bharat Ratna to senior BJP leader Lal Krishna Advani. Sanjay Raut said, "...those who had the right and authority to become Prime Minister or President were put in such a place where everyone forgot them, even the BJP forgot them...when the opportunity came, they were sidelined and Now they are giving him Bharat Ratna. I welcome this decision, he deserves it, he has contributed to the development of the country... They (BJP) could have honored LK Advani by making him the President but they did not do that."

In this matter Shiv Sena (Shinde faction) leader Deepak Kesarkar said, "We are feeling very proud... He has donated a huge amount for the temple. He fought a battle, the temple was just a symbol, he ran a campaign all over India to maintain the tradition of India. As the Home Minister of the country, he has done an excellent job... It is great when such a great personality is honoured. Seems like...."
