Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal has missed the Enforcement Directorate (ED) summons for the third time, sparking accusations from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) that he is behaving like a fugitive. The BJP claims Kejriwal's avoidance of investigation is a deliberate attempt to escape scrutiny.
BJP further accused Arvind Kejriwal of acting like an absconder by skipping the ED summons for the third time, and labelled the Aam Aadmi Party's charge that BJP wants to arrest him as a strategy to prevent his participation in the Lok Sabha elections.BJP chief Virendra Sachdeva says "Since morning I have been watching the 'Choron ki Baraat' (procession of thieves) making noise and mourning for Kejriwal."
AAP leaders counter BJP's claims, asserting that the ED's summons are illegal, and Kejriwal is being targeted to eliminate the Aam Aadmi Party. "Last night from our credible sources, we got to know that a raid will be conducted and Arvind Kejriwal will be arrested."AAP leader Jasmine Shah claimed.
