Former minister and BJP MLA Neeraj Kumar Bablu compared the Bihar government to the Taliban government in Afghanistan. This comes after the killing of Amitesh Kumar Singh (35) in Mubarakpur village of Chapra on Thursday, Feb 2.
As per reports, Bablu said that the manner in which the perpetrators first killed Amitesh Kumar with lathis' and then videotaped it proves the fact that Bihar had a Taliban-like government.
"The government ruling in Bihar is like what we say in Afghanistan, where the Taliban kill people, videotape it and then post it on social media," Neeraj Kumar Bablu said. He said that Bihar was on the verge of witnessing the same kind of caste war that was present during the 1990s during the RJD rule. He said that the prime accused in the Mubarakpur murder, Vijay Yadav, had political support and therefore was not arrested even after six days of the incident.
"The main accused in this case, Vijay Yadav, is still absconding and has political support. Hence, no action has been taken against him," he said.
Neeraj Kumar said that his party will raise the issue of Mubarakpur killings in the upcoming budget session of the Bihar Assembly, which is scheduled to begin in the last week of February.
