BJP opens Jharkhand files after CM writes letter to President on Manipur

Former Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das today took Chief Minister Hemant Soren to a politic on the Manipur issue and suggested paying attention to the crime against women in Jharkhand.

His statement came through a tweet minutes after Soren informed about his letter seeking President Droupadi Murma's intervention on the Manipur issue.

“Hemant ji has written a letter to the President about the incident in Manipur. If there is so much suffering because of the Manipur incident, then he should have at least mentioned the Malda incident in West Bengal and Begusaraj in Bihar in his letter. Does Hemant support her with these incidents? Why do you not hear the cries of the daughters of Jharkhand? Have some shame before doing politics on such a serious issue,” Das tweeted.

Another former chief minister Babulal Marandi, who is now BJP state president and BJP legislature party chief, has extended his support to Das. Through his tweet, he dared Chief Minister Soren to issue some statement on the issue of women's atrocities in Jharkhand.
