BJP protests in Jalpaiguri against Sandeshkhali incident

Amidst rising tensions, BJP Yuva Morcha workers organized a protest in Jalpaiguri's Samaj Pada area on Sunday afternoon, condemning the recent events in Sandeshkhali. Palen Ghosh, the District President of BJP Yuva Morcha, voiced strong criticism, alleging the establishment of "jungle raj" in Sandeshkhali by Trinamool leaders and workers. Ghosh claimed that the honor of women in the area had been tarnished, and BJP's central delegation was reportedly being barred from entering Sandeshkhali to assess the situation firsthand. Consequently, the protest was staged to draw attention to these grievances and demand action.

Ghosh emphasized the seriousness of the situation, stating that BJP would continue its protest until their concerns regarding the alleged atrocities and obstruction were addressed. The Sandeshkhali incident has sparked widespread condemnation and calls for accountability, with political tensions running high in the region.
