Trump 2.0 can be bad for Indians in USA but good for companies in India
BJP MP Kalicharan Singh announced that the party will not name a chief ministerial candidate ahead of the upcoming assembly elections. Instead, the chief minister will be chosen unanimously by the party MLAs with backing from central leadership. Singh emphasized that all party members will be involved in the decision-making process.
Confident of a BJP victory in alliance with NDA partners, Singh pointed to the large turnout at the Parivartan rally addressed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Jamshedpur as a sign of growing public disillusionment with the current government. He predicted the ruling administration’s downfall in the upcoming elections due to rising dissatisfaction among the public.
Singh also highlighted the support of former CM Champai Soren, who has a strong base within the tribal community. He said Soren’s association with the BJP strengthens their position, especially as the JMM is in disarray following Soren’s controversial removal as chief minister.
