Disruption in metro services between Dumdum and Dakshineswar; normal services resume after 2 hours
Tejashwi Yadav, a prominent campaigner for the Mahagathbandhan, took a dig at BJP asserting the way BJP's big leaders are now asking from the stage who will be the prime ministerial candidate in INDI Alliance, it is clear that BJP has now accepted defeat. Yadav also scrutinized the BJP's stance on the sexual harassment case involving JDS MP Prajwal Revanna in Karnataka.
"By openly questioning the INDI Alliance's prime ministerial candidate, BJP's major leaders are essentially conceding defeat in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections," remarked Tejashwi Yadav.
Yadav further delved into the JDS MP Prajwal Revanna's case, highlighting BJP's alleged involvement. He asserted, "The exploitation of 2500 sisters in Karnataka implicates BJP's allies."
"Two and a half thousand sisters were exploited in Karnataka, who did it? Their own comrades. It was found out that the brothers absconded and went to Germany. Before this, women wrestlers were exploited, PM was silent then, and now when two and a half thousand of our sisters are exploited, the PM is still silent now. Whatever happened to the sister in Manipur, he was silent on that too," Tejashwi asserted.
He further added, "the Prime Minister, who gave the slogan 'Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao', was campaigning for such people two-three days ago. Why don't the Prime Minister and Amit Shah give a statement on this? Why don't they take action? This has now become slogan of 'Balatkari bachao, balatkari bhagao' (save the rapist, chase the rapist)."
