Body of a man found in red trolley bag in Islampur; Strangulation suspected

A body was discovered in a red trolley bag in the Sonakhoda area of Islampur, South Dinajpur, on Friday morning. The incident was reported when a passerby noticed the suspicious bag lying in a maize field. Concerned, the passerby alerted locals, and soon after, the police were informed about the discovery. The authorities arrived at the scene and opened the trolley bag, where they found the body of a man.

The deceased is estimated to be between 40 and 45 years old. At this stage, the identity of the individual remains unknown, and no one in the local area has recognized him. Local sources stated that the body was tightly packed inside the trolley bag, which heightened concerns in the community. The police immediately sent the body to the Islampur block hospital for post-mortem examination.
