Calcutta International School and Calcutta Boys’ School in Kolkata received bomb threat emails on Wednesday, prompting immediate evacuation and suspension of classes. Authorities informed police by calling emergency number 100. Anandapur Police reached Calcutta International School, while Taltala Police responded to the alert at Calcutta Boys’ School.
Bomb disposal squads, sniffer dogs, and heavy police forces were deployed at both campuses. Thorough search operations were carried out inside the buildings and surrounding areas to check for any suspicious items or explosives.
