A full emergency was declared at Kerala's Thiruvananthapuram airport on Thursday morning after Air India flight 657, en route from Mumbai, received a bomb threat.
The flight, carrying 135 passengers and crew members, landed safely around 8 AM, and all passengers were promptly evacuated.
The threat was communicated by the Air India pilot as the aircraft was approaching Thiruvananthapuram airport. Upon landing, the aircraft was immediately moved to an isolation bay, where security personnel began a thorough inspection.
