NCP leader Baba Siddique shot multiple times and dies in Mumbai Hospital
Telangana's ruling Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) on Sunday welcomed Home Minister Amit Shah in Hyderabad by installing a controversial poster of the iconic washing girl Nirma.
Photos of BJP leaders featured in the controversial poster
The poster depicted the faces of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders, including Himanta Biswa Sarma, Narayan Rane, Suvendu Adhikari, Sujana Chowdhary and Eshwarappa, transformed into the body of a girl, Nirma, suggesting their association with the detergent brand.
A poster in Hyderabad attacking the BJP came up during the ongoing interrogation of BRS MLC and CM's daughter K Chandrashekar Rao K Kavitha in the liquor case in Delhi. Kavitha was summoned by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Saturday and questioned for several hours in connection with a money laundering case linked to alleged irregularities in Delhi's excise duty policy. She was summoned again on March 16 in connection with the case.
Amit Shah is in Hyderabad for the 54th CISF Raising Day parade
Meanwhile, Union Home Minister Amit Shah reviewed the 54th Raising Day parade of Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) in Hyderabad on Sunday. For the first time, the CISF organized its annual Raising Day celebrations from the Delhi Capital Region (NCR) at the CISF National Industrial Security Academy (NISA) in Hakimpet, Hyderabad.
The controversial BRS poster in Hyderabad has fueled controversy, with many questioning the party's motives for attacking BJP leaders in such a manner. While the poster may be seen as a form of protest, it remains to be seen whether such actions will be effective in bringing about change or will only lead to further tension and conflict between political parties.
