Justice Sanjiv Khanna takes oath as the 51st chief justice of India
The Border Security Force (BSF) recently apprehended two Bangladeshi nationals, Mosloddin (28) and Mohammad Imran (30), near the Changrabandha border post. This operation highlights the ongoing issue of illegal border crossings between India and Bangladesh, particularly through the Changrabandha area, which is a known transit point for migrants.
The incident occurred when the two men were spotted roaming suspiciously near the VIP Mode at Changrabandha. Upon questioning, the BSF discovered that Mosloddin and Imran had entered India illegally via Nepal, with the intention of reaching Bangladesh to reunite with their families. Such journeys are not uncommon, as many individuals seek to connect with loved ones despite the risks involved in crossing international borders.
Following their capture, the BSF conducted a thorough interrogation of the suspects to ascertain their motives and the details of their journey. Given the circumstances and in a gesture of goodwill, the BSF decided to hand over the two individuals to the Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) during a company commander-level flag meeting, instead of pursuing legal action against them.
