BTS's Suga expresses desire to perform in India "I Love Bollywood Films"

BTS member Suga recently talked about wanting to travel to India. While BTS has a huge following in India, the group has yet to announce their official tour plans in the country.

Suga recently held a life session after wrapping up his ongoing August D-Day tour in Bangkok and responded to a fan who asked BTS to come to India for a concert. Also Read: BTS Reveals They Planned Mumbai Concert In 2020

Min Yoongi talked about India and according to Twitter user @bttranslation7 he said, "India? Guys, I really want to perform in India. Before the tour dates were announced, we were looking for a few different places for concerts. One of them was India, but unfortunately we couldn't do the show because of Covid.”

Not only that, but moments later, Suga also revealed that he loves Bollywood movies. “I want you to know that I see all the flags you put in the comments. One day I will visit every place,” he replied to fans who joined him from different parts of the world. He added: “India, I heard there are a lot of ARMYs supporting us from India. Guys, I'm a fan of Indian movies, I love Bollywood movies."

Meanwhile, fans aka BTS ARMY from India flooded Twitter with posts talking about their excitement. One of them wrote: "Oh my god I'm not in the right phase rn... Suga talking about India and Indian Bollywood moves OMG." “OMG… Suga knows Bollywood, he wants to come to India. I hope he comes soon,” another fan added. Another tweeted: “We won. Time."

This isn't the first time a BTS member has dealt with concert plans for India. In fact, a BTS concert in Mumbai was planned for 2020. However, things did not materialize due to Covid-19.

Speaking about it, RM said, "Our goal was to go on a year-long tour of several countries on different continents." They added that a tour following the success of On was in talks and one of their pit stops was planned for Mumbai. Suga released his first solo album D-Day in April. He is currently on his first solo tour. BTS consists of RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V and Jungkook.
