With the much-anticipated consecration of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya just around the corner on January 22, the business world is experiencing a windfall of approximately Rs 1 lakh crore. The Confederation of All India Traders (CAT), representing retail traders, reports that the atmosphere surrounding the impending temple consecration has led to extensive business activities, benefitting traders across the country. As part of the national campaign 'Har Shahar Ayodhya-Ghar Ghar Ayodhya,' traders are gearing up for the event by keeping their establishments open on Monday. More than 30 thousand programs are set to take place nationwide, making it a historic day with simultaneous celebrations.
According to CAT, the retail traders' organization, the Ram Temple consecration has triggered a business surge of over Rs 1 lakh crore in the last few days. As the consecration day approaches, traders are actively participating in the 'Har Shahar Ayodhya-Ghar Ghar Ayodhya' campaign, ensuring that markets across the country, including Delhi, remain open on Monday. CAT's National General Secretary, Praveen Khandelwal, anticipates more than 2 thousand programs in Delhi and over 30 thousand programs nationwide on the same day. The demand for decorative items like flowers and earthen lamps has skyrocketed, with sweet shops experiencing a surge as people purchase sweets for Prasad. Additionally, there's a shortage of Ram flags and plates in the market, highlighting the extensive enthusiasm and participation in the upcoming celebration.
