CBI files a fraud case against the bank manager

CBI, Dhanbad, registered a case against the then branch manager of SBI
A case was registered under Section 120 B, 409 and 420 of the IPC
CBI filed the FIR on Friday after approval from the state government

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), Dhanbad, registered a case against the then branch manager of State Bank of India, Shikaripada branch, Manoj Kumar for the fraud which caused the bank a loss of Rs 2.92 crore.

A case was registered under Section 120 B, 409 and 420 of the IPC.

The fraud took place between August 2018 and September 2020. Regional manager Nityesh Anand registered a case against Kumar in March 2022.

The CBI filed the FIR on Friday after approval from the state government.
