Muzaffarpur hospital blaze kills 3 patients, leaves 20 injured
The Central Bureau of Investigation carried out early morning raids at multiple locations in Kolkata in connection with an alleged ₹1,000 crore bank fraud case. The searches are being conducted at the offices of Sunil Kanoria and Hemant Kanoria, promoters of the company Shrey, as well as at their residence in the Alipore area.
According to reports, the case is linked to a complaint filed by UCO Bank regarding large-scale financial irregularities. CBI officials said Sunil Kanoria was not present at either the office premises or the Alipore residence at the time of the searches, and further investigation in the matter is underway.
