The Central Government's initiative, Lakhpati Kisan Didi Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana, under the National Rural Livelihood Mission, aims to empower women farmers by connecting them with various livelihood activities.
The scheme targets to elevate the annual income of around 30,000 rural women associated with Sakhi Mandals to a minimum of Rs 1 lakh. The training phase has commenced, focusing on activities like agriculture, animal husbandry, and non-agricultural works to boost income and enhance self-reliance.
