Chakka jaam from 2 pm, mashal rally to CM house from Hazra More: BJP's protest program for tomorrow

BJP chief Sukanta Majumdar has announced a series of protests starting tomorrow to demand the resignation of West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. The protests come in the wake of the recent violence and vandalism at Kolkata's RG Kar Medical College and Hospital.

Here's what the saffron party has planned for tomorrow:

• Beginning at 2 PM tomorrow, the BJP will organize road blockades (Chakka Jam) in every district across West Bengal.
• An appeal has been made to the public to halt all work between 2 PM and 4 PM as a show of solidarity.
• The BJP will launch multiple extensive programs, with the participation of all party leaders, to intensify the demand for the Chief Minister's resignation.
• Vanathi Srinivasan, National President of BJP's Mahila Morcha, will lead a candlelight and Mashal (torch) rally from Hazra More towards the Chief Minister's residence.

These protests are expected to create significant disruptions across the state, as the BJP ramps up pressure on the state government following the RG Kar Medical College incident. Meanwhile, the Trinamool is also scheduled to hold a rally led by party chief and state CM Mamata Banerjee.
